The new single and video by the group from les Terres de l’Ebre y la Sénia talks about migrations and exiles. Again, the video has been made by the Valencian documentarians Viçent Llençà and David Segarra with images of Vinaroz, Les Cases de Alcanar, Gaza and Venezuela.
After publishing “Absència” and “Els marges de l’oblit” the Solk group presents us the last song in the trilogy of memory La llera dels dies, which is part of “Nus“, Solk’s second book-CD , which will be released on October 27 with a total of ten songs.
“Vingueren” is performed with guitar and double bass, with duduk, riq and tambourine. The voice tells us about migrations and exiles, about refuges and shipwrecks, about water frontiers, about pasts and presents; of how all people have been migrants at some point. She is an urgent and, unfortunately, necessary witness. It has been recorded by Pau Puig, edited by Joan Cid, mixed by Pau Vinyoles at So.cat and mastered by Ferran Conangla.
Like the group’s previous video clip “Els marges de l’oblit“, the video has been made by Valencian documentary filmmakers Vicenç Llençà and David Segarra. Built with images of Vinaroz, Les Cases d’Alcanar, Gaza and Venezuela. It is a video that cannot leave indifferent, in raw black and white, but at the same time opens a door to hope.
