Already on the platforms the new single and video of Ratpenades, “Zombie Catxonda”

The female power trio from Lleida has published “Zombie catxonda”
It is the second single and preview video from their first album
Once again they surprise with their irreverence, quality and musical diversity that projects a great future

“Zombie Catxonda” is the second single and video that is part of Ratpenades’ first album that will be released on May 24.

This video, as they ironically say “the ballad of the album”, takes place in a humorous environment based on comics and B-movies, with a stage lasciviously full of blood and liver and a romantic background, where the deranged fight for love crosses the most unusual and mindless barriers.

Using the locations of the new center of the Joventut Almacellenc collective, former El Matadero social center, the aim is to pay tribute to it by fragilely remembering all the concerts held and recovering the rural essence by walking the streets of Almacelles.

“Zombie Catxonda” is nothing more than a sketch of what can be found on the band’s first album; with psychotic and frenetic rhythms, we enter a musical universe capable of taking you to the most feared and comical places.

We especially want to thank all the people who have offered to appear, without you none of this would have been possible, and of course to the director, Jony Sánchez, and his camera assistant Carlos Puga for making it possible for this project to become crazy real.

Ratpenades is an accelerated rock band that flirts with a multitude of styles from ease and humor. Usually associated with the rural punk movement, musically the group goes much further and in their songs we find references to surf rock, B-rock and other trends. The group was formed in December 2019 in the Lleida area, but it was not until January 2021 that the band consolidated with Karol on guitar, Virgi on bass, and Vero on drums.
