After taking a year-long break, Ratpenat are back with the first single and music video from their upcoming album Camí a l’infern (Kasba Music, 2025), set to drop on March 7th. The new track, “La dansa macabra,” features a collaboration with Podri, the lead singer of Rat-Zinger, who is singing in Catalan for the first time.
The video was filmed in the small, rundown village of Conill (Urgell), produced by Muricec Films and directed by Ismael Conejero. This time, Ratpenat dive into the darker side of their bold worldview, offering their take on the relationship between life and death. Like the rest of the album (and all of Ratpenat’s music), the song was recorded at EM Estudi with Xavi Escribano.
This is also the first song to be released with the band’s new lineup, as Sergi Moreno, former drummer of Motorzombis and others, has replaced the previous drummer, Marcos López.
The album is now available for pre-order on the Kasba Music website, and includes a free CD of your choice from their extensive catalog.
