Barcelona’s legendary and iconic street-punk and Oi! band is back in action with a four-track EP: “Del cel fins a l’infern” (From Heaven to Hell).
Released digitally and on 7” vinyl, the record includes three new songs and a fresh recording of their emblematic anthem “Acer roent.” It’s a musical explosion of direct confrontation with the absurd, contradictory and empty times we’re living through, and that we’re being forced to accept. As always, the Barcelona band combines social commitment with a tribute to a lifestyle defined by loyalty to one’s colors and sporting passion.
The title track pays homage to a genuine, rebellious Barça spirit, coinciding with the 35th anniversary of the supporters’ group Dracs ’91. To celebrate, the band has written this song as an anthem of popular Barcelonisme, honoring a group that cheers, follows, and defends our colors week after week at the Palau Blaugrana, the home of FC Barcelona’s so-called “minor” sections: basketball, handball, futsal, and more.
The EP will be presented live on December 19 at Sala Wolf in Barcelona.
